| It is with great sadness that I advise you of the death of my very good friend Worshipful Brother Bernard James Jones, P.Prov.A.G.D.C. | |
| I proposed Bernard for membership of Prince of Wales Lodge No. 466 and he was advanced in April 2001. I had the honour of installing him into the Chair of Adoniram in October 2005. You appointed him to the acting rank of Prov.A.G.D.C. in May 2010 and he was a very active member of your team during that season. He became a joining member of Adoniram Lodge in 2010. | |
| He was elevated into Leigh RAM in 2003 and became a joining member of Mount Ararat RAM in 2007 and Prescot RAM in 2012. |

| He was also a very active member of a number of other orders, notably Knights Templar and Thomas of Acon, holding the respective ranks of Provincial Vice Chancellor and Grand Warden of Regalia. | |
| He lost his 11 year battle against cancer at 4-30am this morning (Friday 1st November) at home. I will let you know of the funeral arrangements as soon as I know of them. | |
